As this was a speculative build project for a small developer, the original specification had been drawn up based on aluminium commercial windows, Swedish H-Windows Limited approached the developer and introduced them to the practicalities that a composite timber/aluminium system could offer.

Due to the versatility of the product range offered by Swedish H-Windows Limited the developer was able to specify one of the systems within their original budget. The added value to the client was that they were then able to market the buildings on the beauty of wood internally and the low maintenance of the originally specified aluminium externally.

Another benefit offered by the Swedish H-Windows Limited system utilised on this project was that all the windows are cleanable from within the building, as allopening windows are fully reversible top-swing outward opening. In this instance the client opted for a clear lacquer finish on Scandinavian Redwood internally and a strong bright RAL colour for the external polyester powder coating.
